Varyk,

Cool. But you legally can. But you probably shouldn’t.

Okay. Cool. Good call.

Varyk,

Aptera, baybeeee.

Also, ev prices are way down and their efficiency is going to keep going up.

electrek.co/…/ev-prices-down-18-last-year-drastic…

Varyk,

You said the prices were too high, here is proof that the prices are coming down, almost 20% in a year.

You said American manufacturers aren’t making cheaper EVs, this article talks about cheaper American EVs.

You cried that American EV manufacturers are going to try to trick their way around regulations, while apterra is making 400 to 1,000 mile range EVS with solar charging 40 mi a day, a very clear example of auto innovation.

Don’t throw a tantrum because your complaints were so flimsy.

Varyk,

It’s very clear you find hard evidence hilarious.

'Vaporware".

Don’t use words you don’t know the meaning of because you’re embarrassed of being proved wrong.

Varyk,

That’s what the entire article i provided is about. Don’t blame other people because you never learned how to read.

Varyk,

We got it, you don’t like evidence, numbers or reading.

Noted.

Varyk,

I have been looking forward to this for 2 decades.

Every dentist I’ve ever been to has told me that they didn’t know when research would be progressing on actual regrowth.

Finally, we’re in the maybe soon stage.

Hope the trials go well.

Varyk,

So, like 20 Mexican political candidates were killed just this year, right?

Nope, I just checked: 37 Mexican political candidates were killed this year.

I was going to ask the likelihood of her not being assassinated in the coming weeks, but it looks like the presidents themselves aren’t assassinated as often as candidates. I guess I just wanted to bring attention to the fact that 37 political candidates have been assassinated just this year.

5, 3, 4,then 10 deaths in the past four years including 2024, all inmates were given medical and dental, psychological support and there are two causes of death of in the article unknown, which is probably the most cause for concern.

I looked it up.

The two unknown are undergoing investigations now, standard practice in ICE to investigate cause of death

8 of the deaths since 2018 resulted from covid in at-risk populations, 9 from suicide, which I think is a little higher than the american average of 14 per 100,000 people, but some of these people left notes saying that if they might be sent back then they’re going to kill themselves, so… More high stakes, more pressure in a lot of these situations obviously.

Most of the covid deaths were in high risk patients, the elderly or chronically ill with kidney issues or the like.

Varyk,

Traveling isn’t for everybody. That’s fine.

You’re confused about which college to go to?

Varyk,

And you don’t want to go to any international institutions, you definitely want to study at a college within the United States?

If so, I did a lot of college prep for students, and as far as I’m aware, there is very little difference in the quality of education itself depending on location.

You can go to a less expensive University for higher education without missing out on the actual quality of education.

The networking or prestige may not be the same at ever university, but that hardly affects your textbooks, the labs, the professors or the academic outcome of your education.

If you’re certain which field of study you find rewarding and you’re sure that studying is what you want to do with your life in the near future, but money is a primary concern, then choose the least expensive route to pursue your studies.

Education in that specific country is expensive, but if you are certain that’s where you want to study, then the only thing left is to do it.

Varyk,

What are you confused about?

Are you traveling?

Traveling usually helps me find myself.

Varyk,

There is a little prince themed cafe in luangprabang Laos that is maybe my favorite restaurant discovery this year so far.

Varyk,

Zero down mortgages don’t seem like a bad thing as long as the asessments of the borrowers and their mortgages are genuine.

This article keeps equivocating the subprime mortgage crisis with this zero down mortgage tool, but the subprime mortgage crisis was caused by literal fraud, not the existence of a particular mortgage process.

Zero down mortgages can be structured as schemes to fool people, but that’s not what caused the mortgage crisis, the mortgage crisis was caused by creditors falsely assessing variable mortgage values and knowingly selling them to people who couldn’t afford them for a short-term profit.

Zero down no interest mortgages on the other hand, can be a great tool for people looking for a home.

Read what the contract says, do your due diligence before you buy and make sure you have enough to keep up with your mortgage, like with any mortgage.

The risks the article talks about are the same risks you’re going to get with any type of mortgage, not just zero down mortgages.

Varyk,

Just use magic mushrooms.

Totally safe, effective against PTSD,

Endorsed twice as a “breakthrough drug” by the FDA.

Varyk,

Ooh yeah, reminding me of a slightly more upbeat glen hansard

Varyk,

Cool, this is my first time hearing about the game and it does look pretty great. Thanks!

Those are not pro-palestine - protestors, clicky mcbait, those are Nazis.

Varyk,

US Immigration isn’t a crisis for the country, but it is a practical logistical issue that has to be organized in some better way than it currently is.

Allowing 70000 people a month to apply for asylum seems like a reasonable first step to establishing a standardized framework for managing the constant influx of immigrants without overwhelming migrant processing services.

It’s not very fair to equivocate Trump’s total ban on all people of a certain religion to Biden letting 2500 people into the US every day, and providing food, shelter, medical care and other services for them.

Varyk,

“Former President and convicted felon Donald Trump…”

Soothes the soul

Varyk, (edited )

Almost 150 recalls in grocery items so far in 2024, versus 300 total 2023, so not much more then last year anyway.

That does include the drug recalls I mentioned in the other comment.

Wisconsin attorney general files felony charges against attorneys, aide who worked for Trump in 2020 (apnews.com)

Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul filed felony forgery charges Tuesday against two attorneys and an aide who helped submit paperwork falsely saying that former President Donald Trump had won the battleground state in 2020....

Varyk,

Hell yeah, I am so excited these false elector lawsuits are finally getting filed.
