Updates generally don't require settings resets. It can happen if there's major changes but that's the exception, not the norm. If Chrome updates revert settings to default with any degree of regularity (I actually don't know if they do, I haven't really touched Chrome in ten? years) that's either gross incompetence or sheer malice.
Honestly, I'm amazed by the hatedom for Starfield. It's ... a Bethesda game (and it's actually better at being a Bethesda game than Fo4). I'm not sure what people seem to have expected?
Considering that OP's teachers apparently beat their students (or at least stand idly by while their colleagues do), I'd argue that they do not deserve one ounce of respect.
There are plenty of multiplayer games I adore. However, it seems like every community has these “brain dead”, patronizing, or out right toxic elements that are just nasty. I’d rather debate politics than make suggestions in some gaming communities because the responses are just so … annoying....
As someone with a competitive sports background (swimming), yeah, no. This shit would get you disqualified and, if repeated, banned from competition for life in most sports. It's not a necessary part of any competition.
No Kompromat needed, just PiS doing PiS things. Poland banned imports of Ukrainian grain (because PiS has a largely rural support base and the farmers don't appreciate the competition), Ukraine filed a complaint with the World Trade Organisation, so now the Polish government is throwing what in political science is called a tamper tantrum.
Think about it; instead of those in charge or the instances deciding who they don’t want to be federated with and thus restricting content for the users, it would be better if users were able to block entire instances instead....
Make your own instance then. As long as you're using a service someone else provides for you (free of charge at that), you have to play by their rules.
Agreed. China is openly hostile towards Taiwan, but it has not committed any actual acts of aggression and none of China's actions warrant a military response.
I remember freely cursing with friends probably starting at 3rd grade or so. Just curious about everyone else’s experiences or if that was even a thing for some of y’all.
Then the rest of the world ought to read Putin's own essay on what he thinks of Ukraine, I can't be bothered to link it right now but it's on the Kremlin's official website if you want to read it yourself. This invasion is a blatant, imperialist landgrab.
China has lashed out at Germany after its foreign minister called Xi Jinping a “dictator” and summoned Berlin’s ambassador for a dressing down, in the latest flaring of tensions with a western democratic power over how the Chinese leader is described overseas.
Hate to break it to you but China is a dictatorship. They don't even pretend otherwise, the primacy of the Communist Party is literally part of their constitution.
That's even worse though. Plenty of games (e.g. Stellaris and RimWorld) are also available on platforms like GOG or, ugh, Epic. But if you want to use mods and you bought the game on any platform other than Steam it's fuck you.
I know it is, developers can block downloads unless the user is signed into a Steam account that owns the game. But as an end-user that's distinction without difference.
Convergent evolution is a thing. Aliens that live in similar natural habitats and that fill similar ecological niches as humans will likely evolve along similar lines due to facing similar pressures. With that said, this is a very big assumption and all that it really tells us is that it is not impossible for "humanoid" alien life to exist.
Also, whatever is out there, we'll never know for certain. Distances are just too large. Space is so incredibly, unfathomably big that it's almost certain that there's other intelligent life out there. However, space is also so incredibly, unfathomably big that it's almost certain that we'll never meet it.
Poland would not hesitate to issue an order to block the import of Ukrainian grain if the European Commission refused to extend the grain embargo on Ukraine, according to Polish Development Minister Waldemar Buda....
It's probably still going to take some projects with it. If you've sunk hundreds or even thousands of manhours into a project you can't just... do it again, or at least not always. Especially not if you've invested money as well as time, which is probably the case for most indie projects that aren't literal one-person shows.

Should we respect all of our teachers ? But why should we ?
Isn’t your teacher lied to you ?...
(Partial rant) Why are gaming communities for multiplayer games so often filled with toxicity? Why aren't game developers doing more to stop this?
