As a new member of the "I have a Chronic Immune Disease" community, I want to say, this shit is goddamn scary.

I was recently diagnosed with Eosinophilic Esophagitis, and while I know many out there have it much worse, it is such a mind-fuck to be told to change your entire life on a random Monday.

What made it even harder was the doctor being all casual about it and sending me on my way as if I only had a paper cut. No next steps. No referrals or suggestions. Just a Rx and a wave goodbye.
