It's kind of absurd that your options on fedi are to opt into literally all CWs and having to manually expand them all or opting into none of them ever. You should be able to have a list of words that collapse CWs automatically but otherwise have them open by default

I know that glitch already solves this via regex but it's client side. This really should be stored in your account so it works across devices and applications automatically

There is this Fermi Paradox "solution" that's all about how it's not possible to create controlled fire on many planets. Too much or too little O2. Life that lives in water or other liquids has no access to fire. And the logic goes: no fire, no metal working, no technology, no space faring life.

But hold on just a damn min. Is fire the only way to heat metal to work it? Is fire the only way to control heat? Fire is a controlled oxidation-- but oxidation has many forms.

I don't buy it.

it sounds like I'm stating the obvious here, but the way I see it, there are two opposites attitudes towards human life's general difficulty: Either it is meaningful, and overcoming it is a proof of personal worth, or it is meaningless, and as such it should be lowered for everybody.

I can't think of a third way but again this feels like a half-baked philosophical idea teenagers routinely come up with.

Latest wave dealt with. We're slowly whittling down the deadhead servers out there that can be weaponized for this. They're basically script kiddies exploiting forgotten instances with open signups.

Guessing there will be more, but they should run out eventually, we're targeting the servers rather than the accounts on our end.

This is specifically a 2DS, but I don't think it matters

I can't get mine to charge anymore, and I'm pretty sure it's because the stalk on which the power contacts reside has been bent out of shape.

I've tried to simply bend it back, and it looked like it worked, but then I plugged it back in and the stalk went back where it was.

Is there some kind of trick I can use to fix this?
