Another mildly experimental
This was a SolarCan Puck I tucked into a plant to hold it. Left out for 2 days, but blown onto the floor at some point. I think the wobbily bright streak is the sun on a windy day.

My wrists and ankles hurt too much for swim training that I pulled out after the warm up. Listen to your body.4 nights camping and 4 days standing takes it's toll.

Working with Microsoft Azure is like banging your fingers in a fridge door. Even using it only to consume API endpoint is a Kafkaesque rabbit hole of mismatching and confusing terms,
terrible docs, leaky abstractions and smug branding.

In so many places it's a thin glaze of "cloud" over the top of shagnasty aging "enterprise" software and janky UI.
Never let anybody, especially Microsoft, tell you it's anything but a tyre fire balanced on a floating garbage patch on the sea of pain.

Who the fuck targets a public hospital with a ransomware attack?

Firstly, as the British Library demonstrated, public institutions are NEVER going to pay.

@badge Is it common for the sim to not respect clicking on the buttons? I can'tactually interact with it at all.

Clicking on the D button in the GUI for example not a lot happens though the following is logged out

Geeks, any thoughts on home mesh kit?

  • I don't want anything that has a SAAS component/subscription to it
  • I've a 3 bed semi - does not need to smash through lots of walls
  • Ideally the mesh points would hve USb so I can power other things off them and reduce my plug us.

What's all this 4/5/6/7 stuff about?

@jamesholden I have ports on the router, but I can't run the cabling round the house easily. Currently I have a cable going out of the window (trapped in the closed window), over the building, and in the other side. An AP on the end of it might work though.

I had a blast DJ'ing at on Sunday night. Went very well considering it was my first time doing it in person instead of on the internet.

@jtruk caught this absolutely incredible slow motion footage during it, which might be my favourite EMF shot of all time. Charles, Rob, and Dimitri really nailed the effect timings. phenomenal.
