I’m in the proces of choosing a new one (forced by hardware failures of current one) a I hate having to choose all of its parameters with no possibility of any upgrade or meaningful configuration at the time of purchase.
It’s a story from April, I tried seeing if it was posted before, however it’s the story about how the advertising and finance team beat the search team into submission by ousting the core person protecting it to pursue “growth” and “revenue” at all costs.
Hmm songmeanings.com has following opinion about the nirvana song:
Kurt said it himself that this song has no meaning and that it’s a bunch of random poetry lines thrown together to a kick ass motherfucking melody. This is one of my favorite Nirvana songs.
This list is a little old, so some of the links may not work anymore, but overall it’s still a pretty solid compendium for any budget concious Linux (or Windows) gamer!...
Good list. Covering many different categories. Have found every game I thought of. I like that the roguelikes listed are the actual, “classic” roguelikes. What I don’t like: inclusion of the games that cost money to play (via in-game purchases). These should be at least marked as such, pretending they are free is not OK.

Ads are just pure negative. There was even one study that calculated this as a direct financial negative, although unfortunately in narrow circumstances: it was calculated that for mobile users in the US, paying for the data transferred to display the ad was more expensive than what the site owner got paid for including it on his site.

I expect this to proceed similarly: many companies and funding dollars will burn in flames and still, the world will be a different place in a decade thanks to this technology.
Hmm, I sometimes do this, when tackling a particular problem, along with some notes. It is often nonlinear and branching. I use it to construct a problem-solving script in the end. And it’s markdown file.
