I finished watching yesterday, and wow

  1. Apple has mastered content production so well (For All Mankind is my fav show, Foundation, Calls and WeCrashed are among them too)

  2. The way the future is portrayed really makes you think, the way character progression changes your perspective is an interesting duality to the format

  3. OMG Matt and Keri both have roles, loved The Americans

  4. He is no king of the north

  5. We need to reduce carbon ASAP

  6. You need to watch this

I'm not expecting a job offer from Meta btw lol

I just wanted to make a statement that would maybe get his attention, I would love to see Instagram on the fediverse, but I don't think it's likely.

If I could help their Barcelona project in any way, I'd totes be down, I think it could bring a lot to the fediverse.

Even if they are like the Bravo Real Housewives with they sus hashtag blocking, I still love Instagram and it's community, the world needs to discover the fediverse

I've always admired your origin story, and understand why you sold out, I don't agree with the biz model, but more importantly, I think you have an opportunity to salvage your reputation in the minds of your worst detractors if you openly embrace and the .

Hire me to work on Barcelona and show how much you actually care about bringing the world closer together.

@thisismissem Nothing would change, I'm offering to help Meta join the fediverse.

This wouldn't be like me selling Pixelfed to Instagram, and I'm sure they know that.

Barcelona could be the most impactful project on the fediverse, but only if they get it right.

Misskey and its clones reminds me of MySpace

It does many things, and the UI is packed with distracting elements like the current date represented in progress bars (lol why tho?)

I wish them all the best, maybe I'm old, but I like the simplicity of Mastodon

Currently refactoring @pixelfed to support reblogs/shares and hashtag follows.

This means you'll soon see posts containing hashtags you follow and reblogs on your home timeline!

Will be rolling out to the webUI first, and later to the official 😉

Seems like you missed the entire point, how can you claim those things but ignore the fact that the AAA talent and monologues played a crucial part.

This isn't a Marvel franchise, why you talking about 'world-building' when it's about the complete opposite?

Reviews like yours are misguided and detrimental to those you share them with, like can you not just appreciate something without complaining?

@steve lol the toilet paper holder, my partner had the bright idea of ripping the ugly old one off and replacing it with a 3M taped "pretty" one.

    I was trying to highlight how Mastodon (FOSS) has an ecosystem that encourages 3rd party apps. That was it.

    Remember when celebrities would get called out on Twitter for posting an Android app or Samsung ad from "Twitter for iPhone" or vice versa?

    Now consider how the Mastodon founder posts from a 3rd party app.

    It's not news, and he doesn't have to hide it.

    This highlights the power of open apis, open code and federated platforms!

    No matter what client you prefer, you have the freedom of choice, and that's really special.

    The fediverse embraces choice and diversity, don't take it for granted!

    So I've been struggling with disk space on my M1 macbook air (256G), between android + ios development, work and pixelfed development (incl a 16G database) I would have to delete one to work on the other and it's really frustrating, to the point I want to get a new mbp with at least 1 TB of storage.

    Tonight I found multiple logs from php and mysql that were 10GB+ in size, oh gosh. Now I'm not constrained by my workflows and I wish I discovered these huge logs sooner 😅
