Hmm. I like the concept but think there are practical issues: Suddenly everyone who owns apartments or other rental property in a major city immediately sells it (even if just to be demolished) and kicks out the current renters. Mass homelessness affecting disproportionately those worst off. Perhaps the cost of Buying a home would drop due to all that property for sale - especially if the apartments can be sold as condos, but I’m not sure if it would compensate enough, and would be a huge mess for some time.

Besides evaporation, blowing on something which is very hot will bring it closer to room (or breath) temperature by removing the air right next to it which has been heated up already and is ‘protecting’ the hot item a bit from direct exposure to the room air. When you blow that hot air away the hot item then touches the room air and heats that up, which cools it down.
The same applies to cold things, you can melt ice cream for example much faster by blowing on it even if you use a fan instead of hot breath.

Well yeah… Morals aren’t absolute. I didn’t even think that was a controversial opinion outside of religion and such nonsense.
Sure we have laws to define the most generally acceptable cases (and many which are not) but that’s only because it’s the best system we can manage for the masses.

Does blowing on our hot food before we put it into our mouths actually make a difference to how hot it is?
I’m thinking that no, it doesn’t. Which begs the question of why we do it? Is it a psychological thing?
