If the student protests in America don’t lead to more support for re-electing Biden, then it’s entirely counterproductive, as counterintuitive as that might seem to some.

You can’t defeat fascism by voting for more fascism. You don’t give aid to the enemy simply to reprimand the fallible leader. That’s throwing out the baby with the bathwater.

Any vote NOT for Biden, is a vote for fascism.

Republicans get upset when people are “allowed to do this” or “permitted to do that” while Democrats get upset that people are “banned from doing this” or “restricted from doing that.”

Tell me again, who was it that was promoting a small, hands-off government? There is nothing laissez-faire or libertarian about fascism.

I have less of an issue banning a Chinese owned social media platform than I do with the offered alternative to sell it to an American company. That seems really skeevy. We’re going to ban this app as too dangerous, unless you’d like to sell it to us, then we think it’s fine.

I honestly don’t see ANY advantage in Steven Mnuchin owning it than Xi Jinping. They’re both a threat to democracy.

Either Palestine is its own territory and should therefore be sovereign, or it’s part of Israel and this is ethnic cleansing. So which is it?

It’s a bit early for election season and prohibitively early for political yard signs. But compared to 2020, my neighbors no longer decorate their homes and yards with Trump flags and signs.

I’m sure they still like him, but they’re not quite so openly proud about it, or so it seems. Where are all his supporters outside his trial?

I think the constant grind is going to get to people. They won’t turn their backs politically but I feel like it’s less important to their identity.

I’m so naive about culture some times. I haven’t used any AI products (that I know of) intentionally because it think they’re a terrible idea. But apparently, everyone else is rushing as quickly as possible to incorporate them into every single thing they can.

Even the tech that seems helpful and otherworldly has been derived from theft. It’s morally reprehensible.

Does anyone think NPR does NOT have a liberal bias? That doesn’t mean they’re a propaganda factory like Fox, OAN, and other RW media. Every journalist who is not a conservative activist, has a liberal bias. They still operate under journalistic standards.

The problem is that free speech, truth seeking, and the rule of law are apparently exclusively liberal concepts, now. It’s not NPR’s fault that the GOP abandoned the principle of professional integrity.
