I have spent the last two, three days at work with an increasing ball of tightness in my chest. I constantly feel like I'm about to burst into tears.
Yet if asked, I could not tell you why. I could not point at a cause other than throwing up my hands and going "blargh, all of it", which is possibly not very useful.

A general sense of anxiety can also be linked to a physical issue (it might not be or not only be psychological).

It might be worth having a chat with a doctor just to be sure everything's fine. J
They could even recommend some other professional to help.
