Have been known to meticulously edit photos to create something fantastical, but quite often just scribble on things.

So, car roof tents. Did everyone else know about these?

Saw one today, setup in a local car park, and I am a bit befuddled by them.

I mean, on the one hand, that's quite a cool way to get a decent mobile bed without a big motor-home.

But also, it's a tent that's attached to your car. And that feels odd.

@bricks It was quite a wee car that I saw one on today, it took me a while to work out what I was looking at! Was totally oblivious of their existence until that point.

@Noyj I don't know! The website had a neat clip of it just flipping open and being there, all ready and comfy, which I could see the appeal of, but then... it's attached to your car. So you can't nip out to buy supplies without putting it all down?! I am perturbed.

@teapot_ben Haha, this is what I've just been doing. The one I saw was setup on a wee car in a public car park. I changed where I was walking so I could see what on earth was going on.

OK. I think they make sense if you think of them as a portable bed.

They don't make sense to me if you think of them as a tent.

@EponymousBosh Yes, and I think it's if you're on the move constantly, rather than setting up camp (as I would think of it). Definitely starts to make sense more as a quick, convenient, portable bed.

I've discussed this issue before, but with more flowers in the garden I have more data points to work with now. SCIENCE.

A close up photograph of a cosmos flower bud. A sign on the left hand side reads: Question. Does tickling make flowers bloom faster? A simple drawn figure stand to the right of the bud gently tickles it. After a second the flower bursts open, pushing the figure offscreen in a blurring motion. The flower has white petals, a happy cartoon face and upturned arms. The answer is added to the sign. "Yes. Yes it does."

@tea tea lovers, looking for recommendations! I'm putting together my first order from Yunnan Sourcing soon, and wondered of anyone has any suggestions of teas I should definitely include?

Mainly looking at puerh (raw and ripe), oolongs and black teas, although maybe a bit of green too.

Also, any suggestions on which of the many shipping options works best for the UK? Thanks.
