We have a huge paper shredder in the office.

It's smurt, it has IoT features and an touch enabled full color screen.

It takes about 40 seconds for it to wake up from power-saving mode. You stand next to it like an idiot, holding two sheets of paper, waiting for a Technological Progress to finish whatever it is doing, dunno, DHCP negotiations, who knows.

I have a paper shredder at home. It has on/off switch. When it's on it goes "bzzzzz", and when it's off it's off. It even does not have sleep mode to save the planet, it's just off.

Zawsze gdy popadam w zawodowy marazm dostaję metaforycznych rogów i rozmyślam, co by tu odjebać. Nie jakiś wielki raban, ale coś głupiego (głupio-sprytnego, moja ulubiona dziedzina, komitet olimpijski powinien dać mi reprezentować kraj w takiej kategorii), co nasyci mnie chęcią do życia.

Pewnie odkrylem cos, co dla niektorych bedzie oczywista oczywistoscia, ale...

Niech mnie ktos poprawi, ale czy idea grup ("gupikow") na #mastodon.ie wlasciwie bardzo mocno przypomina grupy dystrybucyjne z poczatkow internetu?

Zalapalem sie na koncowke dzialania tych grup, ale jesli dobrze pamietam, tam tez wysylalo sie wiadomosc na jeden adres, ktory rozsylal go do innych grupowiczow, wiec gupiki dzialaja w sumie tak samo 🤔
