@piglet The current versions of Ubuntu, Fedora, or OpenSuse will get you started. Use Ventoy to try live versions.

Try multiple distributions and choose the one you like most, and don’t listen to anyone about one’s superiority over another.

For some inexplicable reason, the UI for always opens on my second monitor instead of the main one. With any other program, I just have to move it to the other monitor, and then it will open there any time I start it in the future.

But not Blender.

Anyone know how this happens and what to do about it?

@pwilde Nie mam, ale pewnie sobie sprawię. Raz kotka po kąpieli nasikała mi na laptopa, a innym razem na listwę zasilającą. Zdarzyło mi się też ratować sytuację jak kabel zasilający do komputera się zapalił.

Jak spojrzałem na to co napisałem, to dodałem sobie ten zakup do listy zadań.

Skończyłem The Banishers, 65h, 88% mapy (wszystkie zadania mniejsze i większe, ale znajdziek na siłę szukać nie będę). Gra jest świetna, wiele małych historii łączących się w jedną całość. Nie miałem większych problemów (łatka była ostatnio), tylko bluszcz czasem potrafił na chwilę zatrzymać. Jeżeli wyjdzie new game+ oraz dlc to może kiedyś wrócę podążyć mroczniejszą ścieżką. Gorąco polecam.

I had to create the 1st instance via cli.

I'm trying to figure out whether i can run and within the non-upgradable 2GB RAM envelope of that wee thin client.

The containers aren't fully installed, yet. But they're running at ~500MB of RAM.

was a dead end - uses 1.5GB without running a single container!

2 lxc containers running, htop shows about 500MB RAM usage

Banishers dostało łatkę. Właśnie sprawdziłem na XSX i zadanie z którym miałem problem udało mi się ruszyć dalej i przestało czasem chrupać. Bosko.

Is anyone else tired of seeing AI this and AI that everywhere? It seems like a rapid explosion of new products that are jumping on the bandwagon. Aside from the websites and apps, I got an email from Logitech yesterday about their new AI-enabled mouse and keyboard. I can't be the only one who wants less AI, can I? It's going to make me switch to Linux and adjust my tech options.

Dzisiaj zacząłem oglądać One Piece. Moje standardowe tempo to 1 odcinek dziennie, więc nadrobiłbym do bieżącego odcinka za jakieś 3 lata. Tylko że pewnie będę się przełączał na inne tytuły pomiędzy sezonami.

"Jutro jeszcze nie zostało zapisane" W Banishers mam ukończone ponad 80% mapy. Już dawno mogłem wyruszyć do New Eden, ale jak postanowiłem sprawdzić trochę mniej lub bardziej istotnych zadań pobocznych to dowiedziałem się wielu ciekawych rzeczy jak na przykład kto to wszystko rozpoczął. Fajnie. Prawdopodobnie w ciągu ~57h napotkałem tylko na jeden błąd (może jest ok, ale wątpie), mam lusterko, ale wydaje mi się, że już mi nikt z nim nie pomoże.

Są jakieś fajne głośniki bluetooth, które da się włączyć/wyłączyć po cichu bez efektów dźwiękowych? Kiedyś miałem jeden, ale na cały regulator mówił, że jest on/off to go oddałem w inne ręce, bo ciężko to było znieść.

@chlopmarcin Taaa, chyba się przejdę do elektromarketu i poklikam tam. Chciałbym czegoś do posłuchania audiobooków wieczorem, a nie budzenia wszystkich. Pamiętam, że pisałem do producenta, ale nikt nie odpowiedział, wyparłem już z pamięci jakiego. Może te najmniejsze nie będą tego robić, ale już powoli zaczynam się obawiać tych wszystkich baterii, podączonych kabli usb, że w końcu się coś zapali.
