Is Raindrop.io the best option right now for a) bookmarks b) read later and c) highlighting/annotations? Before I go pro and kill my readwise I wanted to take one last look at what's out there. Readwise Reader can do that but it's a lot more $.

After a recent move, fiber install and a U6-LR added now rethinking my equipment. I outgrew a 6U rack and have a 15U ordered + a #unifi dream machine pro for scalability and to power more POE cameras. The U6-LR amazes me at its coverage. Now researching for a future addition of a rack mount NAS. Recommendations needed.

I’m retiring the following and it will probably go to my son.

• 6U rack on casters
• Unifi Cloud Key G2 Plus
• Unifi UAP AC Pro access point
• (3) Unifi BeaconHD

Keyboard arrived. Very impressed with the build on first inspection and glad I decided to stray from trusty black. The wood palm rests are super comfortable. There is going to be a bit of a learning curve and muscle memory shift from my HHKB Pro and I can see I will probably need to do some remapping for #emacs use. Thanks @ttscoff and @curtismchale for information on this before I ordered. #keyboard #ergomechkeyboards

I am fucking mad as hell, sick to my stomach and completely heartbroken for our poor boy, Gage.

Today, his new doctor had to remove 14 (yes FOURTEEN!) teeth due to a massive infection. Furthermore his blood cell count was down to nearly 4k which means the infection is moving or has moved to other parts of his body. He has probably been in a lot of pain for a while.

On top of this he has hypothyroidism which might explain other long standing issues.

In my "play time" with #Obsidian as an #orgmode user I haven't felt like I trust this app for many reasons. One is that I have installed too many plugins and now it’s overly complicated/bloated - I don't even want to open it. Time to dumb it back down and if it still doesn't stick then keep using #orgmode. The only reason I've been testing it out is a desire for a better iOS experience with my notes.

Spent the day hangling a lot of lights and ceiling fans for my son at his house. I was an electrician for a number of years in my 20’s and still enjoy it. I have a box of smart switches to install in my house and keep putting it off.

Spent way too much time today trying to figure out why consult-imenu will not work for me in #emacs and made zero progress.

Last night I had to tear down my configs for tree sitter because typing / in a js buffer would crash emacs. At least I got that fixed and can work on react code tonight.

Took a break from work to cook.
Filets, shrimp, asparagus and our new favorite purple sweet potatoes. Filets ended up being a tad over done but still good.
