Apparently it’s never the time to actually improve things because there are elections every two years and anyone disrupting party unity (which insists on keeping the status quo) at any time is supposedly a risk.
Kinda hard for Palestinians living in Palestine to actually live when biden hands over billions of dollars in weapons for israel to bomb them. Why are you more mad at people opposed to genocide than the ones who full-throatedly support the bombing of Palestinians?
If being called out on supporting genocide is such a national security risk then maybe biden should stop supporting genocide. Then you get the benefit of removing that as an issue and, you know, not supporting genocide.

Anything to excuse biden and his support for genocide. No need to put pressure on the guy supporting genocide, just on the people who won’t toe the line. If you’ve ever wondered how the holocaust could’ve been allowed to happen, just look in the mirror.
The existence of that guy doesn’t mean biden should be allowed to support genocide, just like how the existence of serial killers doesn’t entitle you to kill “just” one person.
Vote for biden, but you don’t have to make excuses for him or pretend like he’s some savior for not being as bad as the other guy. Biden shouldn’t be painted in a good light when he supports genocide.

Grocery prices dropping by half would be amazing. I would be interested in learning what he has done for grocery prices and why congress feels the need to ask him to do something about it if he has supposedly done so much already.
If I’m just making things up, then why are car prices so damn high and car companies are posting record profits? Tesla is only doing fine because it was the first big EV manufacturer to market and it’s riding on that momentum. People willing to go with the least worst option available doesn’t mean the option isn’t bad. If it was a good option, then the ones offering those options wouldn’t be afraid of the competition. Tesla cancelled development of a $25k model shortly before these tariffs would be announced. This is not a mere coincidence. They know that there is high demand for cheap EVs, but auto companies here much prefer fatter profit margins and the government is all too happy to protect those fatter profit margins.
Chinese companies focused on development of better and cheaper batteries and the result is that they’re able to offer much cheaper EVs. Why should that be punished while the other car companies get rewarded for dragging their heels on EVs due to their comfort in selling petrol cars?
If the vehicles are so low quality and dangerous, then it wouldn’t be the job of tariffs but of bans, since there are minimum safety standards that still apply.
