@heiglandreas@wouterj@jaapio I know what a number of the concerns are that prompt things like this. That said, having been an author of several components where this happened, I can also say that it's hugely dispiriting when your work is essentially forked and modified only slightly, just so it can comply with the Symfony release lifecycle or its preferred API. You end up losing users and contributors, and any fixes or improvements on the symfony version never make it back to the original. 😐
@wouterj@heiglandreas@jaapio so perhaps we should implement a new flow. One where collaboration and communication is more central. To promote reuse and interoperability for libraries and frameworks.
Perhaps we should create a group, let's call is the Library Interoperability Group, LIG for short, where these things can be discussed.
What as fucked up health system where you have to think about how to finance vital, life-saving operations and the future of your family instead of thinking about how to survive shit and just huddle up as a family!
All the best to everyone and today especially to Ryan, Leanna and Beckett!

When you learn that a band you missed three years ago in Montreal (my flight left an hour before they hit the stage... and I learned it literally the day before) is now playing in Brussels.
@heiglandreas Last year i was excited for a band I like ( “The Midnight” — they’re from Los Angeles), came to NYC. I missed the show by ONE DAY! This was due solely to my own stupidity! I put the wrong date on my Calendar event.
So, on the bright side, at least it wasn’t your fault, and just an unfortunate circumstance 😄
It's really great that I can use Paypal to pay for orders in onlineshops (great in terms of convenience...)
But it would be even better when those f*cktards that implement the paypal payment gateway would keep the email-address that I entered in the order process and not replace it with something they can get from Paypal.
Either do not ask me for an email address or use the email-address I had to enter in your payment process!
The best thing is that I got the confirmation from the PayPal chat that "When you send a payment to someone, they will be notified with the sender's email address.
However, I confirm that your personal and financial details will not be shared and no one will be able to see these details as we keep sensitive information confidential."
I'm not sure though whether they understand what "personal details" are... 😕
