I microwave at lower power settings for longer times, and I stop to stir and taste at regular intervals. My microwaved food is usually the temperature I want it to be.

Chocolate milk.

I don’t get it often, but I get psyched when I decide it’s time.

I’m troubled by the way they’re holding that coffee cup. Their hand doesn’t look like it has adequate purchase on the thing, and even if it does, the cup is going to slide off the saucer if tipped much further. We’re witnessing an avoidable mess in the making.

Pringles lost their way completely the moment they discontinued the honey mustard ones.

I’d try 'em!

Christie slams Ramaswamy: ‘Most obnoxious blowhard in America’ (thehill.com)

Chris Christie got into a fiery exchange with Vivek Ramaswamy during Wednesday night’s fourth GOP debate, calling out the entrepreneur and fellow White House contender for repeatedly interrupting and blasting him for his attacks against fellow candidate Nikki Haley....

I tried desperately for this not to be my comment. I really applied all the willpower I can muster, but the fruit hangs too low…

I’d probably still be at the emerald grove if they hadn’t limited the number of Scratch’s pets per interaction.

Boot and shoe care products. If you’re lucky, Target or whatever might carry one or two tins of medicre Kiwi shoe polish and maybe one type of leather conditioner. I remember having better selection at just the grocery store and being spoiled for options at any of the 4 or 5 proper shoe stores that used to be in every neighborhood.

The closest shoe repair place to me is 60 miles away these days 😔 It’s not like I live in a small town, either! I remember when there was one in every second or third strip mall. It’s not like it’s tricky to order a bottle of Obenauf’s online, but I miss being able to just be like, “I better swing off at this random place to pick some up while I’m thinking about it.”

Nobody’s saying your dipshit child doesn’t work hard. They’re saying he has access and opportunities few others do.

Is the only reason he’s in a position to be cast for roles that you’re his parent? Probably not. Is a reason he’s in a position to be cast for roles that you’re his parent? You’re stupid if you don’t think so.

If you’re reading this, Netflix, I’m willing to do the exact same thing for just $40 million.

$500k will only barely get you a Rolls Royce Phantom, though 😞 Nobody should be expected to work under such horrible conditions.

I’m not a therapist, so I wouldn’t know for sure. But I have dealt with a lot of my own trust issues by remembering that I can control the way that I show up, but I can’t control the way other people do.

If I think someone might have questionable intent with how they engage with me, that’s their business. The way I behave in response is my business.

It’s reframed the way I interact with folks in a lot of ways. I can deal with manipulative people to whatever extent I must, but then be like, “Okay, peace,” instead of being drawn into whatever bullshit they have going on.

That’s just me, though. Everyone’s experiences and relationships are different. I hope you’re well!
