A question for people in Paris:

We´ll be on a family vacation in France in the 2nd half of May, and are pondering whether to visit Paris.

Are there any important limitations due to the preparation for the Olympics? Major sights blocked off, or anything like that? Lots of security hassle?

We´ll be travelling with children, so we´re trying to avoid long queues etc.

    In case it isn't glaringly obvious, the next frontier in protecting our data is denying services that want to use us to train ML models. And no adblocker is going to do the job. Someone's gonna have to read every ToS, Privacy Statement, and EULA to find out who's doing what.

    @mttaggart @BradRubenstein @jancborchardt I don’t know. Ten years ago yes it was possible but we didn’t have an easy interface to contribute. I don’t know how the current one allows it or not. But there must be a way in any case. I agree the point definitely should be worthy to mention in ToSDR instead of somewhere in the ToS

    Idea

    Is there such a thing as an embed / quote posting tool for the #indieweb? An easy to use tool like the hosted #webmention Endpoint but for displaying a snippet of a page based on its h-entry / other #microformats?

    The threads UI of Slack really doesn't scale well.

    Often happens that I'm replying on an older thread and that makes more recent ones unmarked. But after answering, it's losing the ordering of which I already replied to.

    I wish there was a clearer UI for threads and tracking which have been read/answered already.
