Saturday Confession: I'm a sucker for video game adaptations, especially . I've spent so much time at my friends looking at the static miniatures and reading the army rule books without ever using them that I'm excited every time I see the characters, vehicles and weapons I've come to know so well animate in a game.

How do you make your workspace a place that fosters creativity? One of the first things I did when I got my own studio was to hang original art that I had collected over the years. I love being surrounded by this stuff!

Not the first huge player clamping down on it's API killing off 3rd party apps and burning bridges. This seems to be the nature of silos (or so called walled gardens).

If only there would be a solution to this dilemma. Something interoperable. Ideally without an API at all.

Like and |s or |json|atom feeds.

Ah well, will do for now 🤓

@bekopharm I have been made aware of this thread yesterday, because at we have been toying around with the idea of a connector (see github.com/friendica/friendica…) but it looks unlikely now.

@aardrian There's no good KPIs humans can come up with for AI. There are too many presupposed that humans wouldn't think twice that AI can and will exploit to reach the assigned KPIs.

Is there some secret to attracting translators for a software project or is it just absolutely impossible if you're smaller than, say, KDE?

Do you need to use those websites, like transifex or something?

Are .po files and gettext even the right solution?

I don't think we ever got above 30% translated in any language.
