Ich musste gestern ausnahmsweise mal wieder mit dem Auto durch #Stuttgart. Da sind gerade überall großformatige Wahlplakate an den Straßen: Stuttgarter kämpft für eure Autos und Fahrräder sind toll aber Autos auch. Kann man in Ruhe studieren, während man im Stau steht. Blech überall. Gestank und Feinstaub kann man schmecken. Und ich frage mich in welcher Parallelwelt diese Parteien und Menschen leben, die in 2024 auf solche saublöde Parolen kommen. Alle den Schuss nicht gehört oO

Can somebody explain why game makers don't start their own companies together?

It seems like every other week a game studio is massively laying off employees; sometimes after years of development. What I’m reading is that it’s a quick way to lower expenses and pad the investors’ pockets, flooding the market with developers and reducing their value, to then hire them back a few months later at lower...

@darth Amdgpu, Wayland, 60hz must be forced (bug in FO), launched via Lutris. Smooth with HD pack installed.
NOT on next gen update yet that just dropped (waiting for the mod breakage fog to clear)

I've to check on the details later. not at my PC rn

I found an old VeraCrypt container with tomboys. all images are broken a bit. are there tools to try to fix this on Linux? it's not a big loss, just annoying

@kaia good chances they magically revive by just converting em with imagemagick to another file ext 🤷

Saved a bunch of images like that with invalid data or broken headers.

Nothing warms my heart more than another website picking up the idea "Detect Missing Ad-blocker" of https://stefanbohacek.com/project/detect-missing-adblocker-wordpress-plugin/ (after seeing it on mine in action).

It's made for WordPress but the idea is so dead simple that it can be integrated in almost anything with some work (if nobody else did that work already :D)

My best early access is probably Satisfactory, where I sunk over ~700h in.

Or Valheim, that I played before it was [public] beta 🤓

Think I've a good nose for this. And this one tingles it. Many, that I ignored, were a dud in the end too.

Little one found a half starved bumblebee on the (inside) stairwell.

We applied first aid (sugar water) and watched it recover. It eventually took off. Hope it finds home again.
