I once took a trip to the UK and was brave enough (or dumb enough) to rent a car in London and drive around the country side. I drove down small town streets the wrong way several times and I nearly killed myself trying to navigate a roundabout twice.

As a passenger it was frightening. You sit there in what has always been the drivers seat to you yet you have no control over the vehicle.

It all completely screws with you brain.

We got to see Stonehenge tho, so that was great.

It’s completely unrealistic when I first saw it. Great fantasy but so impossible it’s more like a piece of pulp fiction on film.

Any woman that beautiful in a post apocalyptic world would never exist. They would be raped, enslaved, bought and sold like a prize within months of the world breaking down.

Whenever I see or read scenarios like this I’m constantly reminded by a quote by Kurt Vonnegut, a veteran of the second world war who wrote some great books about war including ‘Slaughter House Five’ … he said … “In war there are only two types of women, those that have been raped and those that will be raped”

When the world breaks down and there is no law and order any more, the women are usually the first to suffer.

This is why I thought this film was unrealistic with such a beautiful model actor as the lead.

At this point … it would probably be cheaper for the government to just throw them $100 million in cash and tell them to not bother anyone.

I often go through a late night browsing session and open up three or four Firefox windows with ten to 12 tabs in each … but after about an hour it all just becomes too confusing and distracting. So I got in the habit of just nuking everything every hour or so. Just shutdown all of firefox and restart again.

If I found anything significant, then it was bookmarked, noted, turned into a PDF or documented some other way.

Stuff that had a bit of importance go into bookmarks, more important info is noted with the link, stuff that is very important is fully documented, linked and turned into pdf. Everything else is just forgotten because they weren’t that important.

Change comes from the collective voice of the people who march in the streets

Great changes don’t happen because we politely ask the ruling government to do as they are asked by the people … great change comes from the combined voices of thousands and millions of people shouting in the streets until they are heard and listened to.
