This weekend is the time each year when the HF bands are the busiest for amateur radio.

It's the "CQ WorldWide" SSB contest, so most people with HF capability will be on air at some point.

You can see how the busy traffic in the amateur bands stands out from the rest of the HF spectrum on this 'waterfall' display.

This weekend would be a good time to play with an online SDR if you've never done that. Try:

@JoeRess If you don't need to retain followers/following you can rename your existing account which will then allow you to create a new empty account using your original handle.

Or it used to a year or so ago. I'm not sure if there's a cooling off period on handles now. 🤷‍♂️
