I'm working on a talk and I'm in this weird place where it's basically Schrödingers talk for me: Nobody has seen it yet, so it could be great or aweful - I've lost all feeling for that at the moment.

Our team is together in one place for the first time ever (a few were missing in the photos because their flights hadn't landed yet). For some, it was their first time meeting each other face to face.

Since one team member couldn't make it, we made a cardboard cutout of him so he could be there with us in spirit. 😆

This morning I went downstairs to start my day and nearly shit myself finding Cardboard Ivan standing in my kitchen staring back at me as I descended the stairs.

So happy to have an Apple M2 on hand, but also very happy to not have gotten one earlier. So many things work out of the box now, thanks early adopters!

@jer @fasterthanlime I even got the DTK to get an early start, but boy, yeah, this took a while. Between Erlang adding a native jit that doesn’t work in Rosetta, spidermonkey needing Python versions that didn’t build on arm64 AND adding rust to the build chain, it took me until 2022 to get native arm64 builds for CouchDB out ;)

Fellow macOS Safari users - has anyone else found with the latest release that HTTP Auth credentials are no longer reliably remembered?

I'm finding that often (though not always) I get prompted to enter my details again - even for something as simple as a refresh within five minutes of the previous load. These are for sites I manage, so I know there haven’t been any deploys, let alone anything else that might have an impact. I let a tab live in Chrome for several days, no issues there.

Will I be able to finish Horizon: Zero Dawn + Frozen Wilds in time for Friday’s Zelda release? I’m at ~82% main story and ~5 hours into Frozen Wilds. I don’t need to do everything but it’s gonna be right :)

Got Frozen Wilds all the way up to 75% at a leisurely pace, and I feel I’ve gotten quite far this week, but so made my peace with playing this and TotK in parallel for a while. Tomorrow, it’s Zelda Time™!
