companies don’t build for users, they build for the shareholders. and the shareholders don’t use what companies build, nor do they talk to users.

i don’t know how to fix this, but framing the challenge this way has given me ideas and decisions to consider vs fully losing hope which many of us have exhaustively been fighting.

my cis female nesting partner has never once had her estradiol levels tested and she's been to doctors about chronic health issues for almost a decade.

imagine being a trans woman and never having your hormone levels checked.

honestly, this is one of the ways that cisnormativity likely hurts cis people; she should have had her levels checked years ago!

@terraboops as a hashimoto’s diseased cis girlie i am ALWAYS telling all women i know to get a hormone blood panel (esp thyroid, cis or trans) if they can and have not already - doctors never really offer it unless it’s getting in the way of fertility but a lot of us are not trying to create children and need to ask for ourselves!!!! it’s annoying af
