I’m still annoyed at the entire concept of cable television “channels” still being a thing in 2023. Not only is a basic set-top box that can select programming from ANY provider easy as fuck these days, but the channels themselves don’t even make sense any more. Like History Channel showing Cops and stupid-ass conspiracy theories popular with rednecks.

Aoife update: we caught her very early into developing mastitis from milk stasis, given how early the kittens are taking to weaning. Not so bad she can’t nurse, since we saw the signs so early, but enough that she needs antibiotics and pain relief to clear it. So not ideal but not at all bad.

Is Siri having a stroke today? NOTHING is working quite right. Particularly goving commands to the Homepods, but dictation is really REALLY bad today too. With homepods, asking it to “play chill classical music” as I do for the kittens every day is suddenly wanting to hear just “play chill music” .

I guess what I'm saying is I'm seriously considering whether #visionPro could completely change the way I work day to day as a full-time remote worker. Having a laptop is still practical, but my desktop machine (which is almost always my most powerful) might not have a screen taking up desk space. I can't WAIT to try one. See how well it works.
