RDP support on Wayland is still under development.

For Gnome 46, you can connect to an existing session that has already been started locally and is persistent.

You can start a new remote session, but when you disconnect from this session, all of your processes are killed (apparently).

As far as I can tell, the dream of remotely starting a persistent local session is expected on Gnome 47.

I wonder what would happen if I just use the last of my money to drive out to the ocean.

The federal government has a helpful tool that calculates the cost of gas at $57.

I don’t want to go. I remain curious about what will happen in the future. I am tired of begging for money from friends. I don’t think they would say yes anyway.

The ocean. One last swim. The ocean.

I would probably chicken out though. And then be completely stranded. It’s a bit easier to be homeless in CA than AZ though. Just a little bit.

I finally got the clock rate set for my sound card on the Pinebook Pro. I thought I was using PipeWire because that's what is listed under Preferences on Reaper, but apparently it's still PulseAudio.

Configuring audio on Linux remains enigmatic, but it works. 😌

Oldschool Runescape is very satisfying for me right now, in depression as I am. I get to watch various numbers go up. Experience numbers, level numbers, all that stuff. And it's very low-effort.

Step 3: Refuse to do further chores as they would interfere with the music on the open headphones.
