Right. Now, I know in the proper context, free speech is that the government can’t punish you and that this is a direct contradiction of that. However the way Shapiro et al Musk believes is that anyone should say anything. Although, olde Benny Shaps claimed anyone can say anything but they’re not entitled to work anywhere when he fired Candace. He’s such a weasel and all the clowns at the Daily Wire.

I was upset because I bought my Oculus headset before Facebook acquired it and then forced me to have a log in of theirs.

I decided not to have a Facebook account for a reason. Mainly because I don’t trust the company with my data. As enticing it is to have a VR headset and I would love to for their price … … I just don’t want to give Meta any more of my cash.

What’s happening in VR now is that Meta is licensing their Horizon OS so maybe other manufacturers can make their own headsets with Meta’s OS on top. That introduces another problem because I don’t trust that their OS isn’t spying on me either …

I grew a beard after I got food poisoning and the flu back-to-back. I couldn’t be arsed to shave.

I did try shaving years later but I hated nicking my chin with a razor and doing it every day was a pain.

I think it helps not just in sales but also in terms of player count. I think just having it swarmed with the number of HellDivers makes it more alive too and gets other people more into it.

I’ve also purchased this game like three times. I bought it on PS5 so I could give it to my brother to play. Bought it for myself and for a friend of mine.

Honestly, I didn’t see it coming and I was really impressed by the end. I didn’t know if I enjoyed the movie until two weeks later. I think it threw me in for a loop for a while where I just kept thinking about it (I think that’s what good art does).

I settled on it being a great movie and that I wanted to talk to someone about, but I couldn’t recommend (due to the subject matter and my lack of being able to provide a good description) :P

I don’t typically understand react content when I don’t see the relevance from the reactor to the content.

I like watching something like orchestra conductors reacting to Final Fantasy music or a lawyer watching a video of a cop takedown. That way they typically give some professional insight that I’m not typically seeing. Just seeing someone go “ohh” or “ahh” doesn’t appeal to me at all.

I think Jimmy Carr punches down. I think it’s okay to punch down as long as it implicitly understands that it’s wrong. I think that’s why some Frankie Boyle jokes (who used to write for Jimmy) land as well as they do.

Conservative comedy can sometimes be good? The thing is that it needs to thread a better needle.

See, it turns out that the Rabbit R1 seems to run Android under the hood and the entire interface users interact with is powered by a single Android app. A tipster shared the Rabbit R1’s launcher APK with us, and with a bit of tinkering, we managed to install it on an Android phone, specifically a Pixel 6a....

R1s statement in response from the article:

“rabbit r1 is not an Android app. We are aware there are some unofficial rabbit OS app/website emulators out there. We understand the passion that people have to get a taste of our AI and LAM instead of waiting for their r1 to arrive. That being said, to clear any misunderstanding and set the record straight, rabbit OS and LAM run on the cloud with very bespoke AOSP and lower level firmware modifications, therefore a local bootleg APK without the proper OS and Cloud endpoints won’t be able to access our service. rabbit OS is customized for r1 and we do not support third-party clients. So there’s literally no reason for this to have been a device at all.

They’re possibly complimentary but not mutually exclusive. I think if they sold the form factor of the device over the phone that that would have been more honest marketing.

I hope not to get absolutely skewered for my take but: I liked it over In-N-Out. I thought Shake Shack just gave a good burger and fries. That being said, I don’t think it’s hard to get a good burger in Toronto. I think there’s lots of great places.

I thought I remember them selling off big properties a few years ago and wanting to go crazy with NFTs. Selling off Tomb Raider, Deus Ex and stuff.

You can tell with those decisions it’s really about management. There was also all sorts of drama with FF15 behind the scenes.

I really didn’t like FF7 Remake and I really wanted to like it. I’m a fan of the original and I liked the FF15 game despite it feeling a bit rushed and unfinished at the end and even with the battle system.

I think you do have a point about the action battle system. There’s something about it that just feels imprecise and unsatisfying compared to games in the new category it’s in (although I enjoyed FF15, so you can’t trust me)

What really bugged me is the cinematics/voice acting and story. I just finished GoW4 and Ragnarok back-to-back. I’m not expecting every game to be like GoW, but the cutscenes and stuff in FF felt so corny and cheesy after playing a game like GoW.

Also, they seem to milk Sephiroth to death. If this was a three part series, I didn’t expect to battle him once in the first game and let alone see him as much as I did (I thought the mystery of Sephiroth would have been a teaser for later games). Also, no idea what’s going on with the death clouds.

The game itself looks gorgeous though. I felt if I sent screenshots of the this game to myself as a kid, I’d have my mind blown.

It probably sounds silly but I quite enjoy not memorizing different names for days of the weeks and months like when I was learning french … Lundi, Mardi …

Nice to be like 星期一，星期二，星期三 … for week days and 一月，二月，三月… for months.

If I have to shoot the front, I shoot the hip and it goes down. I haven’t tried post-patch though.
