If I had been asked, I would have guessed that "antennas and propagation" might be a one-semester course as part of a university electronics degree or something.

I would never have thought it's such a wide subject that not only does it result in a large conference centre being booked out for days, but that is the 18th such conference in this part of the world alone.

How humbling and amazing it is to realize how little of the seemingly mundane world around us I'm actually aware of.
