Der ICC haut Haftbefehle gegen Netanjahu und Gallant raus für diverse Kriegsverbrechen nach Artikel 7 und 8 des Rom-Statuts. Darunter auch das Aushungern der Zivilbevölkerung als Kollektivbestrafung.
Für die Hamas-Bosse hagelt es ebenfalls Haftbefehle für diverse Verbrechen und die sofortige Freilassung der Geiseln wird gefordert.
Sie erkennen das Recht Israels sich zu verteidigen ausdrücklich an, aber betonen, dass das nach internationalem Recht geschehen muss.
By the way, I just wanted to call this in advance: it is a near certainty that in the next year or so, #JKRowling is going to say something #racist, because she is on a direct progression towards that whole "Jews create queer people to replace white people with brown people" narrative. Just watch her.
This is, more so than anything else, why #intersectionality and #solidarity between marginalized groups are so important to recognize.
Edit: and for all the people who don't yet believe that this is going to happen, I will welcome you to the conversation when it does, because this is how it has always been. They either get over it with exposure to the outgroup, or they deny reality and double down with more out groups.
