@kaia i'm unfamiliar with a beep but i do remember that RDS which carries the metadata for the radio stream has this feature https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traffic_announcement_(radio_data_systems) and if you set your radio to a channel that does traffic news and switch to cd it will switch to radio for the duration of traffic news and then switch back
