Almost every Linux CLI tool that requires you to edit a file will consult the EDITOR environment variable to spawn the editor you prefer. So, if you want to use nano instead of vim, simply set it as your default editor in your .bashrc or .zshrc:

export EDITOR=nano

@Smootnyclown Lubię to robić, zmieniać, sprawdzać i opisywać. Po tylu latach to się dalej nie zmieniło. Czasami potrzebuję przerwy, ale na takie okazje mam większy lub mniejszy bufor zaplanowanych wcześniej wpisów.

Are there any distro-agnostic instructions on how to build your own custom distro (from scratch or based on any distro)?

I know there are tools to make a custom Fedora SIlverblue image, but that's not what I want.

Has any other instance admin been dealing with "too many open files" error on sidekiq?

I've tried increasing the file descriptor limit for the mastodon user and in theory lsof reports that the amount opened is much less than the limit, but I'm still getting connection errors due to this, which stop all images from being cached until I reboot the server.
