Ich habe nach langer Zeit neulich mal wieder eine Geschichte von Hans Dominik (einem der Urväter der deutschen Science Fiction gelesen).

Er hat durchaus gute Ideen für die technische Seite gehabt, aber er war schon ein verdammt schlechter Schriftsteller.

Und was krass ist: Um vorige Jahrhundertwende konnte er ganze Bücher mit x handelnden Personen schreiben, von denen keine einzige eine Frau ist.

Ich blockiere den Nutzer und meist die Instanz gleich mit.

Auch wenn es doof für mich persönlich ist, unterstütze ich die Anliegen der #GDL.

Aber mal zu am Rande gefragt, aus akademischem Interesse:

Verglichen mit Autos, sollte es ja relativ einfach sein: Wie weit ist die Entwicklung bei autonom fahrenden Zügen?

Ich denke dabei vor allem an Rangieren von Güterzügen auf Bahnhöfen. Zusammen mit automatischen Kupplungen könnte das im Güterverkehr ein echter Sprung nach vorne sein, oder?

Eigentlich sind praktisch alle Erwerbstätigkeiten, die im Homeoffice, vor einem Bildschirm oder in Kostüm/Anzug ausgeübt werden¹, #BullshitJobs (wie etwa Telefonhöhrerdesinfizierer), die zwar viel zum nominalen BIP beitragen, aber real kaum eines Menschen Leben verbessern (außer dem eigenen).

OK, es gibt eine "Frauenzunft", wo sie auch ein bisschen Netzwerken spielen dürfen. Aber das ist natürlich Augenwischerei.

Does anybody know the US TV (ABC) series (8 episodes) "Wonderland" (2000) with Ted Levine and Michelle Forbes?

And possibly knows where to get it? I tried, but had absolutely no luck with the usual shops and other sources.

This was high quality TV, but seems to have been completely forgotten.

Bei dem Edeka gegenüber gibt es eine Verkäuferin (so ungefähr in meinem Alter), die es wirklich schafft, den ganzen Tag bei jedem Kunden irgendwelche Witze oder alberne Sprüche zu machen.

Ich bewundere das total. Ich kann nie ohne zu Grinsen oder ein breites Lächeln rausgehen.

I do not remember my dreams too often, but when I do, I usually wake up, smiling about the absurdities my silly mind comes up with, so imagine my disappointment when today I woke up from a nap with memories of a dream which was absolutely realistic:

Sometimes, I hate it to be me.

In two hours leaves my bus to Berlin, but I can't find my passport, having looked for it all night.

Of course, I had it, when I entered Switzerland 3 weeks ago (it was checked, then). Now, I thoroughly searched every possible and impossible spot at least three times.

What a fuck!

Edit: Found it after 5 hours in the last possible minute.

Now, it means running.
