I'm so burnt out that every game I play right now isn't fun and I want a new game but nothing feels like something I want to invest a lot of time into and it sucks
@pixel I've started a game called Chants of Sennar that's engaging, different, and probably has about 20 hours of content. Recommend it for a break from the usual.
The most ridiculous thing about cop procedural shows is when they ask where a person was, and what they were doing at a specific time the person always has perfect and immediate recall. I'd be desperately trying to remember what day of the week that was, and trying to open my phone calendar. If I was the cop, I'd immediately be suspicious of the person who remembered exactly where they were and what they were doing.
@neatchee 1000%! And it just seems like it's going to lean harder in this direction.
A really interesting approach would have been to have the MC wrestle with his own morals from Japan in the context of the goblins' culture. Of course, he quickly becomes so powerful he can make that culture whatever he wants without resistance. What a waste.
Today I set out to memorize the titles of all the Discworld books in order. I've made it to twenty (Hogsfather, which was over of the first I read) so far.
All 41 book titles are now more or less memorized. I say "more or less" because there are still a couple (ok, 4-5) that are intermittently hard to recall. A little more practice should do the trick.
Shout-out to my trans brothers and sisters on Trans Visibility Day! I'm not trans and am still learning about y'all, but I know God loves you and I want you to feel accepted around me. Peace! #Trans
Me: Let's check the active hashtags. "Opening Day"? What's opening? click Oh, baseball. Darn, now I'm going to get baseball stuff in my feed and I don't want it. Wait, this is Mastodon! I only get stuff I ask for in my feed! Hooray!
