Les démarcheurs pour les œuvres caritatives, on leur donne vraiment un déroulé de vente insupportable, à la limite du harcèlement. C'est pire que les vendeurs de fenêtres ou d'énergie. Là, j'en ai eu un qui m'a fait tout son laïus. C'était nul, mais je lui dis quand même OK, de m'envoyer son mail et que je donnerai X € par mois. Mais lui, c'est un closer, il n'a sa prime que quand j'ai rempli le formulaire, donc il veut que je le remplisse en ligne en direct avec lui.

@VieilOgre C'est toujours la même boîte qui démarche près de chez moi. Tous les salariés sans exception sont en CDD (ce qui est illégal). Quand ils m'abordent je leur demande le motif de recours au CDD inscrit sur leur contrat de travail (spoiler, y en a pas, c'est requalifiable en CDI). Après ça ils me laissent généralement tranquille.

@VieilOgre Le client final est une ONG, mais l'employeur est un prestataire tout ce qu'il y a de plus capitaliste, qui marge sur la générosité des gens et la violation des droits de ses salariés. Je n'ai aucun scrupule à refuser de participer à ce système qui parasite le monde associatif.

The standard definition of the eastern edge of the continent Europe is along the crest of the Greater Caucasus in the Caucasus Mountains, the Ural river, the Black Sea and the Bosporus Strait.
The traditional definition also is that if part of a country falls within that definition of Europe then the country is "European", "in Europe" and so on, even if some or most of it is outside.

I've been pondering this toot for a couple of months now, so I hope it has finally matured sufficiently.

Regarding the default statement by career politicians and fellow power-hoarders whenever regimes they support are in the process of committing crimes against humanity elsewhere, that "[State] has the right to defend its right to exist" and similar as if that was some kind of indisputable natural law,
well, firstly no not even by the laws system you made up do States have "the right to defend itself" by war crimes, crimes against humanity and/or wars of aggression so that's just utter bullshit even by your own claimed rationale,
but also on the other hand... ehhhm, nah, no State "has the right to exist" as some kind of moral absolute. None. Not specifically not one or some, but actually none.
People and thereby peoples have the right to exist. People and peoples have the right to defend themselves. States only have the "rights" that they usurped from the people without valid consent through violence, threat of violence, survival dependence and other vast overpowering relationships.
The struggle by some few humans to grab power over others through States in the form of wars, &c is the greatest threat against humanity through history, only recently getting competition by climate extinction.

@b9AcE I mean, international "law" has always been justified by "natural law" that is "revealed" to the lawmakers, so they can pretty much invent whatever they deem to be "natural" and legitimise it after the fact.

@maddog Je pense que l'humour repose sur les subordonnées mal placées dans la phrase, qui peuvent faire penser, par exemple, que ce sont les oreilles de l'adjoint qui sont jointes au procès-verbal.

@dgar I don't know, except if you mean a government that tries to show they're tackling a problem they created, thanks to a bullshit app developped by a shady startup, whose founders are personal acquaintances of a minister, while shifting the discourse to be about 'personal responsibility' and 'mindset' and not about the material conditions their policies produced; in which case you're thinking about France.

    @Cyphergoat Qui est "on" ? D'après le règlement UE du 21 septembre 2022, celui-ci ne s'applique qu'aux "services de la société d'information", définis par la directive UE 2015/1535 comme "tout service presté normalement contre rémunération, à distance, par voie électronique et à la demande individuelle d'un destinataire de services."

    Donc le règlement ne s'applique qu'aux acteurs économiques (ce qui est logique, le droit de l'UE ayant pour but de réguler un marché), pas aux webmestres bénévoles.

    Et oui, la provocation directe à la rébellion est illicite en France (article 433-10 du Code pénal).

    @Cyphergoat Je comprends mieux. Cependant, j'ai tendance (déformation professionnelle) à ne pas trop prêter attention aux annonces du législateur lorsqu'elles ne sont pas en adéquation avec le texte qu'il vient de rédiger : c'est le texte de loi que les juges appliqueront ; pas les déclarations d'un membre de l'exécutif.

    Là où je te rejoins, c'est que les géants du numérique auront effectivement intérêt à faire du zèle pour ne prendre aucun risque juridique (ce qu'ils font déjà pour la législation américaine d'ailleurs, notamment en ce qui concerne le contenu pour adulte).
