northendtrooper,

If you have a chance jump into the free fly today before it ends tomorrow. 3.23 has been a giant QoL patch and added Vulcan with upscaling.

So you’re saying I could get a diamond tip nozzle for my desktop 3d printer?

Connected cars’ illegal data collection and use now on FTC’s “radar” (arstechnica.com)

The Federal Trade Commission’s Office of Technology has issued a warning to automakers that sell connected cars. Companies that offer such products “do not have the free license to monetize people’s information beyond purposes needed to provide their requested product or service,” it wrote in a blog post on Tuesday. northendtrooper,

Who wants to bet Trump will not show up to the debate?

Planet is headed for at least 2.5C of heating with disastrous results for humanity, poll of hundreds of scientists finds | Planet is headed for at least 2.5C of heating with disastrous results (www.theguardian.com)

I’ll note that 2.5°C of warming by 2100 is a significant improvement over the trajectory we were on a decade ago, even if still far from where we need to be

northendtrooper,

I’m wondering how bad the hurricane season will be this year with the turnover to El Nino and the heating of Atlantic Ocean.

I designed a filament dryer mount for my tukkari mk4 enclosure (imgur.com)

My SUNLU S1 Plus filament dryer was slipping around getting yanked forward on my TUKKARI TLX MK4 enclosure, so I designed this mount which fits into the existing slots on top of the enclosure. Prints in two pieces that screw together since otherwise the supports would be complicated. Had to print the larger piece on my big bed...

northendtrooper,

Digging the slit for the filament to move to and fro.

northendtrooper,

Wonder what the implications are for future ps games on steam.

northendtrooper,

My first goto would be a cellphone battery. Having a cellphone battery lasting months longer than what I had to deal with on my old phone. I welcome this.

northendtrooper,

I can only give my support by up voting and responding with my appreciation. And I hope to see everyone involved with the Godot project to be successful.

northendtrooper,

I’m digging Pluma on my android as a 2ndary to GF.

I’d argue the opposite in a lot of cases, but not all.

I’m more excited about the medical portion of re-classifying.

edit I thought you meant the effects not the effects, so I agree with you.

northendtrooper,

I’m excited but apprehensive with any new hyped tactical shooter like this will bring the servers to its knees for weeks. Looking at you Helldivers 2.

northendtrooper,

Most likely he’ll come up on top as these cars appreciate in value l.

northendtrooper,

What OS are you on?

What Browser are you using?

Are you using any ad blockers?

northendtrooper,

FTC needs to force auto manufacturers to allow the vehicle OWNER to disable data collection at the very least. If it were up to me it would allow owners to disable the sim card and OTA completely. I personally don’t know anyone who uses the in car gps over google/apple maps anyway.

northendtrooper,

Wonder if this is the consequence of the MSFT buyout or just that they know it would be more in a negative spot light from the recent developments from the studio.

northendtrooper,

True but they dont have a knee to their neck from share holders to increase profits year over year.

Windows 11 Start menu ads are now rolling out to everyone (www.theverge.com)

Microsoft is starting to enable ads inside the Start menu on Windows 11 for all users. Because of Intel RST? I just had to deal with that but was able to get a dual boot of mint on my acer.

edit For those who come across this who has the same issue as I did. Video: youtu.be/sGJL62ZYRTU?t=77Text: Boot to your BIOS. Get to the MAIN tab and hit CTRL+S to show hidden bios option. Disable Intel RST. Exit and Save. Re attempt to install Mint.

northendtrooper,

Ah, I have the aspire a315-56. Mint was pretty painless for me after the RST issue. I didn’t have to worry about wifi/bluetooth/touchpad drivers at all. Right out of the box its been smooth (for linux) for me.

northendtrooper,

Yaaaas! Learned a lot of his unity. Be curious if he’ll be doing C# or GDS.

northendtrooper,
