I think this is what’s going on. I’m guessing the smallest partition is the boot partition, the 1gb might be the Linux swap, and the 100gb the Linux install.

pezmaker,
@pezmaker@sh.itjust.works avatar

Or it could be swap, root, and home

pezmaker,
@pezmaker@sh.itjust.works avatar

This points to op not using default fedora partition schema but disk1 being the fedora install across those partitions

Someone was insecure… I, for one, appreciate reminders that my very average lack of a hog isn’t problematic.

“as it’s called” or “as they’re called”? It’s a bit wordier but I think conveys the meaning you’re going for without the negative connotation. I also think context should usually direct a reader/listener to or from any negative connotation for the “so called” usage. That said, it doesn’t hurt to be clearer.

I’m not a health expert, take this with a grain of salt. I’d be disappointed it was rusting, but also mostly shrug it off and keep using it unless it gets bad and flaky/scaley

Ugh

How far northwest? If close enough to lake Superior, maybe a lake whitefish. If not very close to lake Superior or other deep lakes, possibly a white sucker or quillback, which I grew up calling a sheepshead.

Scroll through this and you can check out the whiter fish with larger scales.

I had to double check that my boozed up vision didn’t loose a couple zeros. Fuck CEOs across the board, hell, “C-suite” in general, but 1.5m is about the lowest I’ve heard for a CEO.

That said, their decisions are generally the real reason to hate on the Cs. The gap in pay is the hate cherry on top.

Edit: I’m reminded that base salary is a pretty lame comparator after reading another comment. Total compensation package is worth taking about.

pezmaker,
@pezmaker@sh.itjust.works avatar

Yeah, specifying “base salary” seems pretty disingenuous. It’s all about the add-ons.

It’s a difficult place, short summers, long hard winters.

UPers (you._purs) are an interesting lot. I’m not sure Wisconsin wants them, and they wouldn’t have it anyway if Wisconsin did.

This is just my opinion, but I don’t think so. I love the thought and wish there was, though. I think no matter what you do, it’s still information about a potential user/customer and still tells someone looking at it about you. “Oh, we have information on about 4% of the population that wants to actively subvert our data analytics.”. Obviously that’s made up, I didn’t bother trying to even guess what a potentially realistic number might be.

Again in my opinion, the only way to provide no value to data analytics is to not be a data point, and good luck with that. Best I’ve been trying to do is disable targeted ads anywhere I can, reset my identifier ids regularly on things like android tv where I can, and try to blast cookies anywhere possible. I don’t know if it even makes a difference or just makes me feel better

pezmaker,
@pezmaker@sh.itjust.works avatar

You basically described the other half of me right here. I waffle back and forth between your view and trying to do something about it. I go back to feeling it’s futile and doesn’t matter anyway, before getting fed up with targeted ads again. Wash, rinse, repeat.

After reading this, I just went and deleted my also 7 year old Reddit account.

I thought I’d feel “buyer’s remorse,” but really I feel pretty much nothing.

Just wrapped up following your lead and saying goodbye to my account. Lemmy is home.

Aaron Rodgers: Jets offense ‘needs to grow up,’ not point fingers. (www.espn.com)

Rodgers, who watched from his home in Malibu, California, said there were “too many little side conversations, and we just need to grow up a little bit on offense and lock in and do our jobs and not point fingers at each other – and that’s everybody. Don’t point fingers at the coaching staff, don’t point fingers at...

Man who constantly points fingers points finger.

Seriously, the way this guy throws teammates under the bus…

This is word for word how I could describe my migration as well

Nope, it uses blanks to launch large projectiles like cans. There is no barrel. I don’t know how or if they prevent real rounds from chambering but there is no barrel in the traditional sense. It attaches to a standard AR lower

Is there a way you can confirm your bed or nozzle temps? I know for the nozzle that’s a really difficult thing to do, it’s so small to be able to check with anything.

I ask because with your unexpected crash the other day from your post history, I wonder if your main board has glitched.

A 90c bed shouldn’t melt petg I’d think, so something is definitely weird there.

Might be worth trying to reflash your firmware in case the glitch isn’t hardware.

What other mods have you done to your printer besides spring spacers?

When you level the bed, is it manually and with a piece of paper to help gauge the distance?

These things have so many places something can go off that it’s really difficult to help troubleshoot without being there. Hopefully something in this post helps you out.

pezmaker,
@pezmaker@sh.itjust.works avatar

Ok, yeah, forget the paper as far as regular leveling goes with the cr touch. Have you tried confirming your z offset since you changed the nozzle? If you haven’t, it should be fine every time you do something to the hotend.

Also make sure your heat block isn’t stripped out. I had a bitch of a time printing for a while only to discover I had overtightened my middle and stripped out the threads in the heat block. After I replaced it I had consistent good prints again.

@pezmaker@sh.itjust.works avatar

We’ve done many of the same mods. Klipper, Skr, Sprite pro, crtouch. I did the dual z drive mod too, though I have no idea if that’s actually improved anything or not. Probably now that I’ve setup input shaping and have this thing whipping through prints.
