I get that it’s tempting to think something nefarious and suspicious is happening, but I’ll take poor planning and lack of thought around safety almost every time.

I make my own though with a soda stream. I have a shit ton of hops as a home brewer so I make flavoring that’s steeped hops (filtered out after steeping), combined 50/50 with juice blend I make 50/50 from lemon and lime. Not the fake from concentrate shit, but I don’t fresh squeeze it either. You can get the real stuff in most grocery stores these days.
So 1/2 hops tea, 1/4 unsweetened lemon juice and 1/4 unsweetened lime juice.
Then I put about an inch of that in a pint glass and fill it the rest of the way with soda water.
Very low calorie and hits the spot. It has helped me entirely stop drinking beer at home.

I don’t know if my experience is normal or not, but I’ve pretty much only ever been asked to add beneficial functionality. I also don’t work in general web consumption so when I’m asked to do something it seems like it’s for better function rather than consumer utilization.
A question like this reminds me of back when I was regularly using deadspin and other gawker media when it was bankrupted, sold, and reworked to be an ad and data collection farm. I’d probably have done, what it at least appeared most devs did, and left.
In the companies I’ve worked for, those kind of things just don’t happen. But again, my career has been in for software targeted at very specific markets and users and not general consumption for harvesting. I haven’t had the experience to see either of my MY dogs grow old to have to make this decision in the same way you are. Both at 8.5yrs and full of piss and vinegar ended up with cancers that were terminal. When I was looking into this for myself and struggling with the decision, I stumbled upon a vet’s blog that basically said she never once heard anyone say they did it too soon, and only ever heard regret about having waited too long. A family friend also gave me advice that it’s the last act of love and compassion we can give them. I am not judging you and say this with no intended shame at all, with only what you’ve said to go by, but I think it’s time, and maybe a little past time. At the end of the day it’s you and your well loved furry friend, not me and mine. It’s going to be hard no matter when, so if you can, try to have family with you and planned support for a few days. You’ll feel their presence for a very long time. My most recent was in April last year and that nugget is still around me in many ways, and getting blamed for my gas at both ends.

She was a great dog, and thank you. I had someone come into my home and do it so she could be comfortable with her surroundings. She’s didn’t like the vet office much 😂. My first dog loved anyone and everything and going to the vet was a treat because of the people, so taking her in wasn’t a big thing for her. Just wanted to let you know about the in home option in case that seems like a good option for you.

Looked like either a rupturing cyst or maybe a skin tag. I wouldn’t think it’s anything serious but I will always recommend having a vet check it. Imo it’s likely nothing but I’m also not a trained vet.
Actually could be the breathing asshole of a parasitic fly larvae. Put some petroleum jelly over it in a thick layer and see if whatever it is crawls out.

I stopped paying for prime earlier this year when 2 day shipping wasn’t always 2 day shipping anymore. I always viewed the prime video as a crappier Netflix or Hulu add on that I wouldn’t have paid for anyway. I still have the app on my androidtv box and actually watched something the other day, “with ads”, without having a prime account.
I guess I don’t have much of a point other than if they’re going to do this for prime subscribers too, if anyone is paying for prime primarily for the video service, they may as well stop and watch with ads anyway.
Unless I’m missing something, the sudo password should be the user’s password, so unless they’ve never logged out as their user, they should’ve already used the password to login. I wonder if they’re trying to use the root/su password instead of their own user’s
Are you trying to use the root password when using “sudo” to preface a command? If so, try your own user’s pw. As far as I know sudo pretty much always uses the password of the user calling it.
Interesting, I’ve been using jerboa since the great migration,and while it has had its moments, it’s overall been a smooth and enjoyable ride. Early on I had an issue like you’re describing with the sort types, but not in many versions. 0.0.55 is the latest play store version. Might be worth clearing data and cache and re-logging in if you are already on latest
