Whew, a couple hours later and finally managed to pinpoint Stickyfoot's hiscore bug! Can finally get back to polishing off content!

Tracking down an extremely annoying hiscore bug. Haven't been able to pinpoint where I've gone wrong with the calculations though, conversions seem to be working fine. Hmm. Gotta keep hunting.

I'm extending the game I wrote for . I've added different map styles, support for up to four simultaneous players, gamepad control, and a single-player mode against computer-controlled opponents.

A game of Billabong. First the player chooses from a variety of random maze styles, then they start a game against a computer-controlled opponent. The computer player floods the maze with blue while the human player floods it with red.

Wasn't sure I would have time for but here I am, 455 characters in.

I was over budget with monster map collisions (probably wouldn't be now!), so the "solution" was "what if the monsters are eating the level?" Still need to add win/lose conditions.

A video of a game where a tiny little guy escapes from a cave, being chased by big eye monsters, who are eating the cave.

Really messed up todays attempt, accidentally had pico8 in token count mode instead of character count mode. Switched it over and was at like 900. Nightmare.

Going to shelve this one for pruning tomorrow and start something simpler from scratch.

Got a nice game loop now! 10 seeded levels, hiscore saving, basic sound. At 1500 chars of code right now (which is 3x the jam limit), so now it's time to strip things back!
