Is there a way in android to tell the phone to charge slower? If I plug into a QC3 port the phone gets hot and I really don't want to be taking life out the battery when I'm not in a rush.

Listening to @notjustbikes latest podcast episode, and he mentions the lack of a cap on the OV chipkaart system. This is a feature, not a bug. OV Chipkaart is so cheap you'd really have to try some to hit a cap the same as the day travel card products. By not having a cap it makes it all very simple. The further you go, the more you pay, and you can change between services as long as you do it within 35 mins. That's it. It's that simple. 1/n

This makes me so angry. If we are to have any chance of surviving as a society beyond 2050, we need to dramatically reduce our car use. This means a massive modal shift to public transport. So what are NS doing to help this? Hiking prices, and taking actions to disincentivise travel. "Most of the day we're moving air" no you're moving people. You're providing a service. Public transport is there to transport the public. We need more of it. And it needs to be cheaper.

Could someone please explain why this style of water bottle is so popular? I see them a lot. I've been told it's cos you get a cup and a bottle. But if you're using the cup, the bottle is then open, to be easier to spill... Or attract wasps... It just feels like poor design. No doubt it's won many design awards. I just don't get it...

Why are we building chip fabrication facilities in water stressed areas? Worlds biggest fabs are on Taiwan. A small island with very precarious water supplys.

US chips actually is finding new dabs in the US... In Arizona... In Texas... Seriously?!? You have states like Washington where it basically never stops raining, and you want to build a heavy water using industry in a fucking desert?!?!?
