There are countries that turn off the internet all the time. There’s a only a few major Telcos that control all backbone infra. It could definitely happen

I’m convinced he did it for the '24 election. He lost a lot on Twitter, but he stands to gain a lot more if trump wins.

Remember that last election, all major social media sites released a “fact check” on content at the last minute, completely hijacking Trumps strategy of lying about everything.

The honest answer is mostly because you are seeing bad photos of him, since Lemmy loves to hate on him and all articles hating on someone love to show bad photos. If you look up positive/neutral articles he looks much better.

I regularly bisect commits in the range of 200k (on the low end) for finding causes of bugs. It takes me minutes. Pretty crazy

Do what you like? It takes a while. I tried 2 whole years of daily drawing for at least an hour. It wasnt a lifelong passion or anything, i just thought it would be cool to be able to sketch people. At 2 years I decided that I still suck and won’t get better and quit. Now I’m a mediocre bike racer. I still suck, but I enjoy it a bit more and it keeps me fit. Im late 30s btw

I’d never drank it until I was 32. I decided to start drinking it because all the soda I’ve had throughout my life (pretty much addictrd to mountain dew, Dr pepper, and red bull throughout my life) was starting to catch up to me. Soda is way worse for you than coffee, and I wanted a healthier option. I hated it at first but kept drinking it. Now I look forward to it. 2 cups a day, any more than that and I get anxious and jittery. And best of all, haven’t had soda since (except the occasional jarittos). Still have never drank alcohol though, addiction runs in my family

If everyone had an ebike, getting on and off the train would be a complete pain in the ass. I guess if there were lock boxes it might be OK, but hundreds of people trying to get their bike on a train would be a nightmare
