#SDXL does seem to have a much clearer association between people and objects, although it doesn't in any real sense understand physics.
The problem will continue to be how to train a model that has no physical presence in the world how to have a concept of just the basics of how things function.
is it true some instances block ones that dont follow some global block list? feels counter intuitive to the reason i use social media. you should want to see differing opinions, no?
I see a bunch of people are demanding a "pause" in AI development and deployment
Ethically speaking, not wrong
But that assumes the people running the firms developing these tools have any notion of what's right and wrong, and understand the dangers of what they're doing
My impression is they don't, and political decision makers are too weak and in thrall to Silicon Valley
So chances a pause happens? Close to zero, I'd wager
@jon are you implying people who work in tech have no morality? lmfao - its the guys in charge, not the joe who sits in front of his screen for hours debugging, who lack morality.
@atomicpoet circling back on this does calckey have cool inside jokes or is it the same as other mastodon instances in that its just facebook / linkedin lmao
