@60sRefugee @dashdsrdash @cbehopkins @nyrath This was the rationale for mecha in Jovian Chronicles (exo-armors). The gyros and the limbs were tied to a frame inside the cockpit that the pilot strapped into. Not necessarily completely realistic but it worked well enough for me.

BREAKING: Court orders Trump to pay nearly $335 million in NY fraud case, plus 3 years restrictions in the state. Note that (as I understand it), he can't simply "not pay" while waiting on appeals, there will need to at least be some sort of (presumably very expensive) bond filed with the state.

There's more than one kind of immersion in . While character immersion gets the lion's share of discussion, you can also be immersed in the game mechanics, imagining the fiction, and even the events happening to the table as a whole. None of them are more important than the others.

My dream VTT would allow uploading PDFs (or images) of sheets and allow defining the fields to be filled in, assigning them to die rolls, etc. Why has nobody done this yet?

Does anybody know of a way to upscale images with good results?

Here's the problem: we were recently handed POD versions of PDFs, which we were going to extract the images from. They were embedded at >300 DPI, but were originally 72. We're looking to salvage a small portion of them.

@targrus We had a van where the tire pressure sensors would routinely just fail. It was a known thing so when we took it in for tire rotations or whatever they'd just replace them.
