Surprise, surprise! The Rabbit R1 runs Android under-the-hood, and its entire interface is powered by an Android app.

I managed to get that app up and running on a Pixel 6a.

My mom was given a Pixel 8 (upgraded from a Pixel 6) for her birthday, and while setting it up for her, I taught her about Android 14's new lock screen shortcuts feature.

Since she takes a bunch of photos and videos, I set the left shortcut to "Camera" and right shortcut to "Video Camera".

IntelliJ IDEA 23.3 has bundled the Presentation Assistant plugin and given it a facelift! You can enable it from Settings | Appearance & Behavior | Presentation Assistant. Especially great when you're pairing or presenting.

If you had the plug-in installed, note that you should remove it as the new bundled version doesn't replace it :)

    Volvo is announcing some really good potential vehicles. Assuming they'll get them to the market in a reasonable time, these could be the trail blazers of the next gen EVs.

    Turns out Fedora has an issue with NVidia drivers. My MacBook Pro has an Nvidia graphics card :\

    I'm pretty bummed that Google only sells the Pixel Tablet and Pixel Fold in a handful of countries :( I'm lucky I travel to the UK often enough that I can work around that, but I am an exception. I can only hope that more markets will be added over time.
