shani66,

I prefer freaks like this to the ad bots on Reddit at least!

shani66, (edited )

Nah, but she can break me

shani66,

I have no idea how Google manages to be so terrible. At least half the employees have to be actively sabotaging the company with the way it runs.

People believe those things because the economy is bad and we use worthless measurements (like, say, GDP) to plaster over that fact. If children are only ever taught one way to look at something they’ll force it to conform with the obvious reality once it’s undeniable.

Fallout Series (Why don’t I like it?)

I think my first Bethesda game was Skyrim and I love Skyrim. I’ve played through Skyrim when it first came out I played through it again in the DLC came out. I played through it again on the switch I have since played through it again on PC. I love Skyrim. I played it so many times and I know it’s a meme to keep re-releasing...

shani66,

To be perfectly honest, fallout 4 is probably the peak of Bethesda game design. For the most part it’s incredibly shallow, like all of their games, but everything having some kind of actual use as scrap instead of a gold/weight ratio makes exploration far more rewarding.

That said, Bethesda sucks and there could be a few reasons why it shines through. they didn’t have the actual TES creators’ work to capitalize on and ruin, they just seem to take fallout less seriously than they do TES, and the bad gameplay becomes more apparent when you focus on ranged weapons.

shani66,

Oh don’t get it mixed up, new Vegas is better than anything Bethesda has ever put out, it’s just not a Bethesda game. 3, meanwhile, is just straight up bad. It’s as unrewarding as oblivion to explore, the gameplay sucked, and the setting was stupid.

shani66,

What wrong with brave? Never used it and don’t know much about it myself

shani66,

Eventually, yes, but it’s primarily about what nutrients are in the soil. You can grow tomatoes after potatoes* but that doesn’t add any of the nutrients potatoes need back into the soil.

  • I don’t actually know the nutritional needs of either of those crops
shani66,

Depends on how the moon is wobbling that day

shani66,

Monachopsis. The subtle and persistent feeling of being out of place, in the company of misfits and dreaming of a place to belong.

And i blame you for the Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows binge you’ve put me on

shani66,

Does anyone care about a 40th anniversary? That’s such a weirdly specific thing to care about

shani66,

Which part, the sound of his genitalia or the fact that we were too good damn puritan to send proper medical diagrams to potential aliens?

shani66,

Um… Yes? It’s insane you didn’t recognize the best waifu of all time and a character from one of the big recent anime

shani66,

Even dumber when you realize the hospital absolutely doesn’t need a little card to let you die.

shani66,

It’s still democracy if it has entry requirements, and it’d probably function better.

shani66,

Because they were explicitly created to disenfranchise black people.

shani66,

… What? Why? That’s… They couldn’t even bother to use ai for one of it’s actual use cases in video games?

shani66,

Wtf why?

shani66,

I thought you could already play while an update was downloading on xbox

shani66,

No

shani66,

I believe creation club dlc does keep working, feel free to assume the worst.

shani66,

Yes. As for why, why not? If you can it’s probably the single best was to live life. Most jobs are entirely unfulfilling, unnecessary bullshit jobs that stack even more unfulfilling, unnecessary bullshit on top of it. the important work is, like, maybe a tenth of all actual work done and that’s still usually done by people who get treated like shit, sucking out whatever meaning they might be able to find.

Education is good, but left to their own devices most humans will educate themselves to some degree, so it’s not like NEET necessarily means a lack of self improvement either. Not that that’s the only measure of a good life.

And that’s before taking into account mental health issues that our society creates.
