as of today, i've officially signed an agreement that allows me to keep ownership of my writing, visual, and music productions, while also having publishing help.

this means i will own 100% of my work: manuscripts, master recordings--everything i create. forever.

I’m getting a new dog soon to keep my almost 6 year old boy company. My friend had a litter of puppies so I claimed one of the boys. Not sure exactly which is mine in the picture, and they are mutts, which I prefer. Healthier, often more behaved, and fun personalities.
Thinking of naming the new dog “Barak” as in “lightning” in Hebrew. Spending the next couple weeks cleaning and trying to puppy proof the place.

I sideeye people who work in IT, Cybersecurity, or even coding who don’t use multiple monitors. Especially from the Apple loving crowd. It’s so funny to see just how inefficient so many are with their workflow.
Trust me, get at least a second monitor, I operate usually on three for my optimal workflows.
I even have a portable display for my work laptop because it can make that much of a difference when in the flow.

Pages used to be an incredible entry-level desktop publishing app. It used be such an easy recommendation to people coming from old Mac apps like QuarkXPress. Today, it can't even show the bounds of text boxes and shapes without selecting them 😒 What else would you expect the 'Show Layout' menu option to do?

@gedeonm believe the budget begins with Series 14 (or “Season 1” because RTD is silly). it’s entirely possible that Disney had a hand in the specials but it’s all speculation believe it or not!

Officially started moving my Pixel 7A to Google Fi, and away from Efani. I'm keeping my iPhone on Efani, but I wanted at least one phone with Google Fi as they have the best calling plan when traveling internationally for $65. So I am now on three carriers.
Google Fi, Efani, and Mint for the rest of my devices that only need data.

@chiefgyk3d we talked about it and if Google Fi used any other network besides T-Mobile, we'd use it because it's cheaper but unfortunately it doesn’t—nor does it allow roaming over to local carriers like VTel Wireless here so unfortunately we're still on US Mobile :(

Could really use some good vibes sent my way right now. Today is day 3 of being seriously ill & I've just been exhausted, barely enough to actually sleep. And even if I do sleep, the coughing hurts my lungs so much that it's hard to breathe. I've been drinking lots of water and getting up & walking around as much as possible, which has helped... but typing on my laptop for like 45-60 minutes today killed me. Hoping tomorrow is better for me and that I'm able to get more than two things handled.
