Youtube suspended my streaming capabilities for 3 months because I played copyright content from openings.moe while testing OBS encoder settings, so I made my own videojs site in like thirty minutes so I can stream whatever I want without having the contentID bot sniping me. Then I hosted a peertube (fediverse instance) site because I thought it was a good way to catalog videos that I though were going to get removed or privated. And that's basically it.

All right I think I'm all done, and I don't believe I lost any data. Despite the array going into read only twice.

Early synopsis is don't by Kioxia NVME drives they fucking suck, they sponsored LTT (which should tell you enough about their quality control), so did Supermicro, and Seagate. All those companies suck and got horrible QC, you don't want to do what I just had to do for the past 12 hours.

Also these dutch cigarillos are not good but they're cheap af, the wrapping paper just falls a part.

All the fedi meta related posts make me remember the good and bad times of me writing up the Fediverse Friendly Moderation Covenant.

And...a few years later being called a "nazi" for it.

Some people interpreted "commiting to the least amount of moderation required to keep up federation, but keeping your instance safe" as not moderating at all, and when that led to users of the covenant getting blocked I decided to not recommend it anymore.

All the meta business is tough stuff.

@pixel It's a self correcting problem in my view.

It begs the question from me however. Why whitelist federation is never used. All this infrastructure, drama, otherwise would be unnecessary if instances peered only with trusted servers and next neighbor were placed in a semi visible quarantine.
