stoy,

We have a whole keyring full of them at work

stoy,

Good, now can we get rid of exclusive launches on the EGS?

stoy,

Yep, my thought was similar, but more focused on the manufacturing/install energy cost vs energy production.

It all looks like classic vaporware, renderite, and wishfull thinking all combined with a (deliberate or not) lack of scientific reasoning.

The process I tend to use is that if I during their sales pitch find myself asking one or more of the following questions, then it is probably BS.

“Why would they make it that complicated?”

“Why not just build a normal concept?”

“Do they only have CGI and no real product?”

stoy,

I mean, if you are going to shill for Elon, at least pick a less obvious username

stoy,

The Behind the Bastards series on Andrew Tate should be required listening to for everyoneven remotely considering listening/joining his sphere.

stoy,

Bigclive made a video about UV after a similar event i China:

stoy,

Unless a collective bargning agreement between Tesla and the Swedish metal workers union is signed today, the Swedish dockworkers union will start a sympathy strike, and refuse to unload Tesla cars arriving at port.

We have plenty more unions who can sympathy strike as well.

stoy,

I have said it before, snd I will repeat it as many times as it takes.

Adblocking is security, untill website owners take legal and financial responsibillity for the harm that a hacked ad spreading malware or attenpting any kind of deception, I won’t even consider removing my adblocker.

If this changes, I will consider it, but will still not do it, the risk to my data is too large.

stoy,

You can’t trust any website 100%

You need to continously verify and reverify the details you can.

stoy,

I see AI sort of like 3D cinema, buzzing like crazy right now, people exploring all it can do, but in 5-10 years, while not dead, it will be mostly overblown.

It will be a niche tool, that improves certain tasks in many sectors, but we won’t hear much about it.

stoy,

I am sorry, that is dumb.

I am all for less cars in cities, but this is a terrible design.

Why does the control system have to be a bike?

Why is the driver so exposed both to the elements and other drivers?

Why give the driver shit rear and side visibillity?

No, just do something like an old milk float design, don’t reinvent the wheel all the time.

A milk float is already designed for local deliveries at a low cost, with a normal driving interface.

stoy,

Even better, a milk float!

stoy,

No, that is a terrible way to think about it.

It is clearly much wider than any normal bike, meaning it would allways use up most of the space on the bike path, it is heavy and dangerous to other bikes in a collision, and since it has to stop for deliveries it will clog up the bike paths.

No, just use a milk float on normal roads, way better than a normal van, and it can use existing infrastructure that it was actually designed for.

stoy,

Cats originated in warm climates, they enjoy warm spots, they are also perfectly capable of knowing when they are too hot and move.

I would not be too worried.

stoy,

Eh, Elon is so deluded by arrogance that he might do it out of spite

stoy,

Me too, that fur looks so soft and amazing

stoy,

Interestingly it is not unheard of seeing them among the houses in the northern suburbs of Stockholm, it is very rare, but not ungeard of.

stoy,

They are the BEST paws

stoy,

Start one and advertise it yourself, I’d be interested to join from time to time
