Pics of the Magic circulating on FB and it looks like we’ll see a “Soul Cat Lounge” replacing the Promenade Lounge. They also did upgrade the Concierge Lounge but not as extensively as the Wonder. No outdoor space added.

Yesterday I was noticing I was the only person masked in a meeting I was in, and today one of the people in that meeting tested positive. 😐

@thatkruegergirl I mean at least they tested, and told us! I just wish that if my work was going to encourage people to come into the office that more people would take precautions so we don't just keep spreading sickness back & forth 😩

Cold rainy day here in the Sunset, . I came into the bedroom to get my wool shacket (my partner hates that term, heheh) and my more nocturnal mate woke just enough to ask, "is it nice out?" to which I firmly responded, "No."

Days like this make me want to drink more caffeinated tea than is necessarily good for me...

This week's had a street food challenge so I searched my cookbooks and found Shumai in "Japanese Home Cooking" by Morimoto - That's a street food right? 1st time making these and they turned out really good! (probably cause they have bacon in them 😋 ) I steamed them in the rice cooker.

@Raven_Ninjato Yes, I've made several things and they've all been great. It's meant for American home cooks so he gives suggestions for alternate ingredients if they're hard to find. Highly recommend!

@brunch A simple dip of soy sauce, rice vinegar & chili crisp. The recipe in the book called for a little Chinese mustard but I didn't have any.

Today was difficult - kid had a meltdown (he has sensory issues with the sound of crows) and it took a while to calm him down and get him to finally eat his lunch in his blackout tent "calm room". Now I'm tired and going to play some Octopath 2.

Pixar employees received a copy of this new book featuring Hot Steve Jobs on the cover. 🤓

A cool thing about this book is that it has emails sent to Pixar which I must have gotten but of course I don't remember because I have a terrible memory.
