Wenn ich nach meinem -Account (@coma_streets) suche, bekomme ich (noch?) ein "503 Remote SSL certificate could not be verified" als Fehlermeldung meiner Instanz. Adam Mosseri hingegen finde ich problemlos. Habt ihr Ideen?

    @NatureMC @Tinido Die Lokalzeitung hier sprach letzte Woche von „Eine Woche Sommerbonus“. Allerdings wird auch der DWD mit den Worten „magische Grenze für einen Sommertag“ zitiert. Das Konzept von der lieben lachenden Sonne wird uns noch eine Weile begleiten.

    Little proof of concept for visualising Longplay's album metrics (addiction, negligence, recency, etc.) as a spider chart. Not terribly useful on the widget without a legend, but fun to play with and the animations look pretty.

    Starting to get reports of streaming audio cutting out in Broadcasts after several minutes of playback, despite no changes to the app recently. I can't seem to reproduce locally — has anybody else seen AVPlayer stalls/cutouts in their apps on iOS 16.6/iOS 17?

    OK, jetzt weiß ich auch, warum mir die Mastodon-vs-kommerzielle-Plattform-Diskussion so bekannt vorkommt. Das ist die Linux-vs-Windows-Diskussion von vor 15 Jahren: "Ihr müsst nur alle eure Hobbys aufgeben und diese zehn anderen Tools noch lernen, dann kann das alles, was das kommerzielle System kann, und noch viiiel mehr!" 😅 Ich bin alt.

    @droidboy Nee, fühle mich nicht angegriffen. Bin nur irritiert.
    Wir unterhielten uns lose über Fb und Depression. Ich kritisierte deine verkürzte Darstellung des Artikels und dessen Ergebnisse.
    Jetzt gibt es einen Link mit u.a. Studien über Fb und der Wirkung von Timelines auf politische Kampagnen und Einstellungsänderung.
    Mich irritiert der Themenwechsel und ich verstehe nicht, was dein Punkt ist.

    @droidboy Aber hast du es auch komplett gelesen, was du teilst? Darauf zielte ja meine Bitte ab, dass du kurz darlegst, was die Studie zu Wohlbefinden und höhere DAU und MAU-Zahlen deiner Meinung nach für Forschungsfragen hatte und welche Ergebnisse sie lieferte.
    Deinen Initialpost dazu fand ich sehr verzerrend. Daraufhin habe ich das Gespräch begonnen.
