I am going to put this in a separate post but all of this reminds me of something.

I had a case pending in the Third Appellate District in California about 20 years ago.

I knew I was going to lose. This particular panel didn't like my clients very much.

I had an author/ personal website and one of those stat counter devices so I could see who went to my website. It was obviously a personal website about my most recent book, a Civil Rights story.

    @Teri_Kanefield My primary source now is your feed. I uninstalled twitter and facebook six months ago. I can definitely provide the counterpoint that my politics-related rage has not been this low in the last decade. It saves my rage for things that actually deserve it. 🤓

    @Teri_Kanefield I thought the takeaway from Hillary's email was that there was some grey area of crime (a non-zero mishandling of classified information) but she was cooperative and apologetic and likely without sufficient intent, and so they decided not to pursue charges.

    @Teri_Kanefield Re-reading the story on factcheck.org, your "brush past" analogy helps me interpret the facts as more accidental than purposeful. Harder to look past the false/misleading accusation but as a layperson I don't know the nuances of whether that in and of itself constitutes a crime, so will take your word for it.     @oliphant The pro-life meat eaters are the hypocrites. They talk about how advanced the fetus is but have no problem with killing and eating a mammal far more advanced than a human fetus.
